London

I arrived in London after a 24 hour bout of air travel and layovers. After standing in the immigration line for close to 2 hours, I got out and was ready to tackle the tube to find Laurie and Anne's house (my dad's cousin and his family). I got off on the right stop, but when it came to finding St. Mark's Square...I found a square, with a sign saying 'St. Mark's Square' but wouldn't you know that wasn't the place...they actually lived across the street and down the road. Anyway, I found it and got to meet Anne, and later see Katie, William and Laurie. I spent the whole day hanging out at their house reading etc. as the plane ride had caused my whole leg and ankle to swell. The next morning I set out to meet Anna...
We spent the day touring London. We went to Tate Modern, Trafalgar Square, the Portrait gallery, London Bridge, London Tower, Tower bridge and Covent Garden. We quicly discovered the extreme expense of absolutely everything in London, so we headed to the grocery store to buy lunch and dinner stuff for the next day. When we got back to Michaela's house (a friend of Graham's), we met her, and had a great dinner with white whine. It was nice to relax after a good 6 hours of walking.
Today we tackled yet another touristy day in London. We went to Westminster and saw Big Ben, London Parliament, the London Eye, Westminster Abbey, the Royal Guard museum, and Buckingham Palace. We then went to South Kensington where we hit the Natural History museum. Just before heading back we went to one of Graham's favorite cafe's 1882 and had awesome cappucinnos.
We plan to relax for the rest of the day as we have to get up early to head to Geneva!
